TVicCommSpyis a developers' toolkit for real time monitoring
of Serial Port activity.
What is TVicCommSpy?
TVicCommSpy is a developer's toolkit that allows you to monitor,
in real time, what another Win32 application sends to or receives
from a serial (COM) port. Includes TVicCommSpy
C++ class, the Borland Delphi/C++Builder VCL component, and TVicCommSpy
ActiveX control (OCX).
This demo includes many test examples showing how to use TVicCommSpy
with each programming language listed above. The full source code
of both C++ class and VCL component are included! The TVicCommSpy
ActiveX Control source code is available for the registered users. The
TVicCommSpy demo version has the following limitations:
A "nag-screen" appears showing the "Unregistered
TVicCommSpy" message when you are trying to hook a COM
port for the first time
Only the first 256 bytes can be hooked with the demo version.
These limitations do not prevent you from writing and debugging
your application before you buy one of the licenses to use or
distribute the driver.
